The Washington State Bar Association's Monthly publication the Bar News featured an article on what it refers to as the Comprehensive Law Movement and its role in increasing civility in the practice.  Two of the movements it singles out are Collaborative Law and Holistic Law.  At Phinney Estate Law we have been a leader in bringing these forms of practice to Estate Planning, Probate, Guardianship, Elder Law, and Family Law to Washington State and it is wonderful to see the Washington State Bar Association recognizing their importance in shaping the way law is practiced in this state. If you are interested in scheduling a consultation to see if these approaches might be the right fit for your situation or dispute, contact us at (206) 459-1908 or [email protected].

Phinney Estate Law is launching a new website.  We hope this site will be easier to use, easier to find, and more interactive.  We are hoping this site will prove a valuable resource for community education on the areas of practice as well as an introduction our firm and unique approach.

We had a lot of content on our prior site and it may take a while to get it all up on the new site.  Missing something?  Comment and we will make it a priority to get it up here.  We would also value suggestions for topics for the future.

    PEL Blog

This Blog is written by Seattle Attorneys Jamie Clausen & Michael Ballnik.
It is made available for educational purposes only. Its purpose is to give you general information and a general understanding of the law, not to provide specific legal advice. Reading this blog does not create an attorney client relationship between you and Phinney Estate Law. Because each individual and family is unique, the Blog should not be used as a substitute for legal advice from a licensed professional attorney in your state.
